Readtimes.id– Badan Pengawas Pemilu (Bawaslu) RI mengeluarkan jadwal baru terkait pengumuman dan pelantikan calon anggota terpilih Bawaslu kabupaten/kota di seluruh wilayah Indonesia.
Hal ini tertuang dalam Keputusan Ketua Bawaslu RI Nomor 285/HK.01.00/K1/08/2023.
“Pengumuman calon Anggota Terpilih dan Pelantikan diubah menjadi Rabu, 16 Agustus 2023 s.d Minggu, 20 Agustus 2023,” tulis Ketua Bawaslu RI Rahmat Bagja dalam surat tersebut seperti yang diterima Readtimes, Selasa 15 Agustus 2023.
Sebelumnya Bawaslu telah menunda pengumuman dan pelantikan calon anggota terpilih Bawaslu kabupaten/kota di seluruh wilayah Indonesia dari Sabtu, 12 Agustus 2023, diubah menjadi Senin, 14 Agustus 2023 dan kini menjadi 16 Agustus 2023.
Merespons hal tersebut, Komisioner Bawaslu Sulawesi Selatan, Mardiana Rusli membantah telah terjadi kekosongan jabatan akibat adanya penundaan pengumuman yang dilakukan Bawaslu pusat.
“Tidak ada kekosongan,” ujar Mardiana saat dikonfirmasi pada Selasa, 15 Agustus 2023.
Pihaknya menerangkan bahwa sesuai peraturan perundang-undangan Nomor 7 Tahun 2017 tepatnya Pasal 556 ayat (3) mengungkapkan jika Bawaslu Provinsi atau Bawaslu Kabupaten/Kota tidak dapat melaksanakan tugasnya maka Bawaslu Provinsi yang ambil alih.
“Apabila terjadi hal yang mengakibatkan Bawaslu Provinsi atau Bawaslu Kabupaten/Kota tidak dapat melaksanakan tugasnya, Bawaslu atau Bawaslu Provinsi melaksanakan tahapan pengawasan Penyelenggaraan Pemilu untuk sementara waktu sampai dengan Bawaslu Provinsi atau Bawaslu kabupaten/kota dapat menjalankan tugasnya kembali,” pungkasnya mengutip bunyi pasal tersebut.
