Readtimes.id– Belakangan ramai sejumlah Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM) dari beberapa kampus di Tanah Air menantang bakal Calon Presiden RI masuk kampus.
Ganjar Pranowo, Prabowo Subianto dan Anies Baswedan diminta untuk adu gagasan di depan mahasiswa. Adapun sejumlah kampus yang mengundang diantaranya UI, UGM, UNNES, Unsoed dan UNS.

Putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK) yang membolehkan peserta pemilu berkampanye di fasilitas pemerintah dan pendidikan yang menimbulkan berbagai reaksi.
Pengamat politik Universitas Al-Azhar, Ujang Komaruddin memandang bahwa ramainya kampus mengundang para bakal Capres merupakan sebuah gerakan intelektual yang positif.
“Itu sesuatu yang positif saja. Walau memang belum masuk masa kampanye. Itu merupakan gerakan intelektual dan akademik yang positif dibangun oleh kalangan kampus,” ujarnya kepada Readtimes, Selasa 22 Agustus 2023.
Kata Ujang, selain menjadi ajang adu gagasan para calon pemimpin, ramainya BEM kampus mengundang para bakal calon presiden ini juga memperlihatkan sisi kritis generasi Z untuk merespon isu politik yang berkembang.
Menurut Ujang, jika nantinya para bakal Capres ini nantinya akan menggaet suara gen Z di pemilu tahun depan, sebaiknya para calon ini bisa mensosialisasikan dirinya dengan menggunakan bahasa yang mudah ditangkap oleh generasi Z.
” Ya kan ada ungkapan, kalau mau mendekati satu kaum, ya gunakan bahasa mereka,” pungkasnya.
