Readtimes.id- Ada perbadingan perawat Indonesia dari 10 tahun hingga 20 tahun yang lalu. Perawat Indonesia semakin lama, semakin membaik. Sebab telah ada undang-undang keperawatan nomor 38 tahun 2014. Saat ini, Persatuan Perawat Nasional Indonesia sudah menjadi anggota Internasional Council of Nurses (ICN), dengan demikian semakin lama perawat kita sudah mau mengikuti standar-standar internasional.
Perbandingan perawat Indonesia dengan perawat di luar negeri, tergantung luar negerinya dimana. Negara berkembang seperti Indonesia secara umum sama saja, dari segi praktek dan kesejahteraannya. Jika dibandingkan dengan negara maju, seperti Eropa, Jepang dan Amerika, masih tertinggal.
Ketua Gugus Penjaminan Mutu & Wakil Dekan Bidang Kemahasiswaan, Alumni, dan Kemitraan Fakultas Keperawatan Unhas, Syahrul, S.Kep, Ns, M.Kes, Ph.D mengatakan, pengalaman saya pernah di Belanda selama dua bulan masuk di rumah sakit praktek dan rumah sakit lansia. Pada 2008, beraa di Jepang sekitar 4 tahun. Bersama Fakultas Keperawatan Unhas, serta banyak alumni yang bekerja di Australia, Amerika Serikat dan Arab Saudi.
Dari segi pekerjaan, negara maju perawatnya lebih interprofessional, kolaborasi dengan profesi seperti dokter, apoteker lebih kelihatan. Dalam pendokumentasian, perawatan terhadap pasien di rumah sakit sudah terintegrasi dan tertata dengan baik. Terintegrasi melalui sistem informasi, seperti penginputan di laboratarium, langsung terlihat diruang perawatan. Sehingga pelayanan terhadap pasien semakin berkualitas. Sedangkan Indonesia, kolaborasi antar profesi belum terlalu mantap. Saat ini, kesadaran baru tumbuh. Meski praktek kolaborasi dimulai dari kampus dan sudah dipraktekkan di pendidikan, tapi belum maksimal dan belum merata.
“Tekait kurikulum pendidikan, ada perbedaan bahkan seperti Belanda dan Jepang berbeda. Namun kompetensi yang ingin dicapai sama. Misalnya keperawatan Universitas Unhas mengacu pada kurikulum internasional yang rekomendasi WHO, tahun 2020 sudah dapat akreditasi internasional, dari lembaga akreditasi basisnya di Jerman.Pertama di Indonesia mendapat akreditasi nasional,”ujarnya kepada readtimes.id, Kamis, 18 Maret 2021.
Visi misi pendidikan keperawatan Indonesia, menginginkan terakreditasi nasional seperti mendapatkan akreditasi A. Sekian banyak kampus perawat, hanya institusi dari perguruan tinggi negeri dan hanya 8 yang mendapatkan akreditasi A. Indikator akreditasi nantinya masih banyak institusi pendidikan perawat yang perlu ditingkatkan kualitasnya. Kurikulum pendidikan diharapkan bisa meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, juga untuk mencapai pengetahuan dan keterampilan perawat. Sikap caring perawatnya perlu ditingkatkan.
Selain itu, masyarakat Indonesia memilih berobat diluar negeri, banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi. Pertama kepercayaan masyarakat yang lebih mempercayai berobat diluar negeri. Percaya akan teknologi dan pelayanan yang hanya tersedia di luar negeri. Memilih diluar negeri karena pelayanan lebih baik. Meski pelayanan di Indonesia juga baik, dan tergantung institusi atau rumah sakitnya.
Dari segi tunjangan atau gaji terdapat perbedaan antara perawat dalam negeri dan luar negeri. Terkait masalah kesejahteraan di Indonesia, sudah ada yang sejahtera dan ada juga yang belum sejahtera. Istilahnya kesejahteraan belum merata, karena dipengaruhi oleh status kepegawaian perawat. Berbeda perawat sebagai pegawai negeri dan pegawai tetap, yang umumnya kesejahteraannya lebih bagus. Mereka sudah ada gaji pokok dan tunjangan kinerja, lalu ada juga jatah medic. Namun, kurang sejahtera itu yang masih kontrak. Terutama yang masih sukarela.
Perbandingan upah perawat luar negeri, seperti Arab Saudi dan Jepang gajinya lebih tinggi bisa dua sampai tiga kali lipat. Sedangkan Australia dan Amerika Serikat lebih sejahtera lagi. Sebab Negara maju seperti Amerika, dulunya tidak suka menjadi perawat dan profesi perawat sekarang kembali menjadi primadona.
