Readtimes.id– A Perfect Fit mengawali kisahnya dengan seorang perempuan Bali bernama Saski (Nadya Arina). Cerminan anak muda modern yang berkecimpung di dunia fashion blogger yang spesifik ke budaya lokal. Di suatu pagelaran busana ia dipertemukan dengan seorang peramal yang kemudian akan menuntun langkahnya kepada hal yang tidak terduga.
Berkat ramalan yang didapatkan, langkah Saski berakhir di depan sebuah toko sepatu. Terlihat kosong dan masih berantakan. Bersama temannya, mereka masuk lalu bertemu tuan toko.
Namanya Rio (Refal Hadi), pemuda keturunan Bugis yang sedang mengembangkan usaha sepatunya. Sebetulnya toko sepatu miliki Rio belum resmi dibuka. Namun, entah dari mana asalnya mereka bertemu di sebuah toko sepatu. Layaknya tukang sepatu, Roy tahu sepatu apa yang cocok untuk pembelinya begitu juga untuk Saski.
Pertemuan pertama mereka ternyata berlanjut pada pencarian dan perjalanan menentukan pilihan hidup. Sebab, seringkali tanpa sengaja mereka malah bertemu sehingga menimbulkan kesan dalam hati masing-masing. Padahal, keduanya sudah memiliki pasangan yang selangkah lagi menuju ikatan sakral.
Ungkapan tentang “memilih pasangan itu sama seperti memilih sepatu. Ketika tidak cocok pastilah tidak nyaman bahkan menyiksa pemiliknya” bisa menggambarkan film A Perfect Fit. Disutradarai oleh Hadrah Daeng Ratu, film ini menyuguhkan cerita ringan yang sarat akan pesan. Dari tangan Hadrah pula penggambaran dua budaya disatukan dalam bingkai cerita komedi romansa.
Mengangkat budaya Bali yang sebetulnya jarang kita lihat dan saksikan di film-film lainnya. Terekam jelas pada saat proses pernikahan Saski dan tunangannya harus menghadapi banyak kendala.
Dalam adat Bali sebelum upacara pernikahan dilakukan, terlebih dahulu mereka menentukan hari baik sesuai dengan kalender Hindu. Dalam cerita, hal itu tidak terindahkan sebab ada ketidakcocokan yang terjadi. Akibatnya syarat pun dikeluarkan agar bisa menemui hari baik yang diharapkan.
Sebagai penyegar mata, film ini juga mengangkat adat pernikahan dari sisi Bugis Makassar. Tradisi Mappacci sebelum akhirnya menjumpai hari pernikahan dilakukan oleh orang Bugis. Tujuannya untuk membersihkan diri agar diberikan kelancaran hingga hari pernikahan.
Selain adat pernikahan, penonton juga bisa tur virtual secara cuma-cuma karena A Perfect Fit menyajikan keindahan Bali. Bukan hanya di pantai namun juga pedalaman yang tidak kalah indahnya. Salah satunya adalah desa Tenganan yang merupakan desa tertua dan bagian dari Bali kuno atau sering disebut Bali Aga. Di sana Anda bisa melihat pembacaan lontara dan menyaksikan tradisi gulat lumpur atau Mepantigan.
